What to do in Laitikkala

Laitikkala village has a wide selection of services, including Rönnvik vineyard, Heikkilä cheese plant, Kesänmaku shop specializing in provincial products, and the farm shop Katajan Liha. Their opening hours vary according to season. The village shop is open all year round. During strawberry harvest, a visit to Suttinen or Tanila farms is an experience. In late summer, Suttinen's selection also includes raspberries, outdoor cucumbers and excellent corns.

You can get everywhere along village roads. There is a volley ball field in the village, and in winter an ice hockey rink. Skiing trails go right past Hepolahti in late winter, and a sledge hill is nearby as well. The parish of Pälkäne, ca. 10 km away, has spotlighted, tended skiing trails, and tennis fields during summer. Downhill skiing center Sappee is half an hour away by car, as are the numerous golf courses of Hämeenlinna.
