Ice hockey on the lake or skiing trip
Ice conditions permitting, we will clear a patch of the frozen lake of snow to make an rink of our own for ice hockey and ice skating. In Laitikkala, only 1 km from Villa Hepolahti, there is also a proper rink that is maintained and available whenever it is cold enough. 10 km away in Onkkaala there is a rink with artificial ice that is usually available for skating and ice hockey from mid-November to end of March. Please check for times it is open for anyone to come and skate.
When the snow situation is good, there are skiing trails right next to Villa Hepolahti that will take you in several directions, so remember to bring your skis with you in wintertime. In Onkkaala there is a 6,5 km skiing trail with lighting, so you can also ski in the evening there.
