Villa Hepolahti was built in 1955 as a private retirement home. Designed by chief architect Pertti Luostarinen, the villa represents smooth, straightforward 1950s architecture and timber construction craftsmanship. During 2004-05 Hepolahti was extended and renovated in the spirit of the original building.
Nature, especially the forest and Finnish wood are an integral part of Hepolahti atmosphere.
